Cusianagas S.A. E.S.P. informs its users and the community in general, that in compliance with Resolution 129 of 2020, of the Energy and Gas Regulation Commission-CREG, as of today July 01, 2020, the suspension of the activity of periodic reviews is lifted, in accordance with the following measures:

As of July 01, 2020, the following users must immediately proceed with the programming, revision and certification of their internal installation: 

• Those who had their gas service reconnected, since they had it suspended for not having the certificate of conformity of the internal installation in January and February.
• Those for which the deadline for the periodic review has expired between March, April, May and June 2020.

The deadline to obtain the certificate of conformity of the installation will be December 31, 2020, after which the service will be preventively suspended in order to safeguard the life and integrity of the users and their families. For this reason, we invite our users to schedule their periodic review as soon as possible and not to leave this activity to the last minute.

Accredited Inspection Agencies shall be subject to the instructions issued by the National Government on exceptions to isolation and shall guarantee users strict observance of biosafety protocols.

Users shall verify that the Accredited Inspection Body has approved the biosafety protocol.

It is the obligation of the users to notify Cusianagas S.A. E.S.P., in the event that they detect any anomaly in their internal installation (smell of gas and/or yellow hue in the flame) that may endanger not only their health, life and property, but also that of the citizens in general, and affect the environment. The lines enabled to attend your requests are: line 164, fixed line (038) 6819085, toll free line 018000936521, with 24-hour attention.

In the event of finding a critical defect in the installation, during the response to an emergency situation, Cusianagas S.A. E.S.P. shall proceed to suspend the service and shall only reconnect once the user has carried out the repairs with competent personnel and Cusianagas S.A. E.S.P. has performed the respective verification. 

Likewise, it is important to remind the users who have their maximum term to perform the Periodic Review during the months of July, August, September, October, November and December, that their current term will be maintained, which means that upon expiration of this term, if the user has not managed to obtain the certificate of conformity of its internal network, Cusianagas will proceed to perform the preventive suspension of the service.

It is important to bear in mind that the periodic reviews of the internal gas installations have the purpose of verifying their correct operation, preventing accidents, leaks and even explosions. In this sense, and taking into account that due to the mandatory insulation the use of gas appliances has increased, it is essential to carry out this process to take care of the life and safety of users, their families and the community.
