Cusianagas S.A. E.S.P. wishes to inform its users that in accordance with joint Resolution 40209 of 2020 of the Ministry of Mines and the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, the benefit of deferred payment has been extended for an additional billing period, and now it covers the invoices of the domiciliary public gas service for the months of April, May, June and July.

In this regard, we confirm that the economic relief for our users of the public natural gas service, determined by the National Government through the application of decrees 517 and 798 of 2020, CREG resolutions 059 and 105 of 2020 and joint resolution 40209 of 2020, are as follows: 

1. Residential users of strata 1 and 2 who are unable to make payment in the month of August, of their bill delivered in July, will have their consumption automatically deferred for 36 months as follows: a) The value corresponding to subsistence consumption (the first 20 m3) with an interest rate of 0% and b) The consumption that exceeds subsistence consumption, with an interest rate established by the company in accordance with the regulatory provisions in force.

2. Residential users of strata 3 and 4 who are unable to pay their gas bill in August, from their bill delivered in July, will have their total consumption for the month, including the fixed charge, deferred to 24 installments with an interest rate established by the company in accordance with the regulatory provisions in force.

3. We also remind our users that the grace period established in Resolution CREG 059 of 2020 ends in the month of July, therefore the first deferred installments will begin to be reflected in the invoice you will receive in August.

During this grace period, the consumption that exceeds the subsistence consumption, that is to say, the consumption that exceeds the first 20 cubic meters, will be subject to interest at the rate indicated in the previous paragraphs, which will also be deferred to 36 or 24 months, as appropriate.  

Once the collection of the deferred installments begins and if the user does not pay them within the terms established by the company, the service will be suspended. 

4. Users who avail themselves of the deferred payment measure may pay said balance in advance of the defined term, at any time, without application of penalties or additional costs on the part of the company.

5. The decree law 517 of 2020 has established as an alternative of solidarity, that residential users of strata 4, 5, 6 and commercial and industrial users voluntarily contribute the value suggested by the company in the invoice, which in this case is five hundred pesos Mcte ($500), which the mentioned users will have the possibility of including it by communicating through our customer service lines and on our website www. cusianagas.com. cusianagas.com These resources will be transferred to the bank account provided by the Ministry of Mines and Energy, entity that will allocate them to provide economic relief in domiciliary fuel gas services to the users they determine.

In addition, users who have not made payment in April of the invoice delivered in March, this amount will appear as a value in arrears in the invoice to be delivered in July to be paid in August. Therefore, we invite users to make a payment agreement with the company during the month of August. 

Likewise, we invite our users who can pay their bill to use the virtual channels provided by the company, such as the AvalPayCenter button that can be found on our website www.cusianagas.com, Davivienda App or through Banco de Bogotá, Baloto points, Almacenes Éxito, and in the different collection points of our allies that can be consulted on our website (Supergiros and Efecty).
